PCH Trip Day 7
Day seven of the trip we woke up to extreme fog that stuck around for most of the day. The fog kept us from seeing most of the ocean so this part of the trip was a little disappointing. But we made good time since there was no need for me to pull over and take pictures.
Our day started off with a drive around Pebble Beach 17-Mile Drive, a very beautiful drive but the fog kept us from seeing far. Along the road we drove pass deer and I almost ran over a bunny.

The Lone Cypress
more sea lions along the coast, hwy 1
We decided to stop at Hearst Castle and take a tour in hopes that time would give the fog a chance to blow-over. Originally we weren't going to stop here (I didn't even know about this place until I friend told me about it) but I'm happy that we did. The mansion was more then extraordinary...
the tour we took was the Grand Rooms Museum Tour
the Refectory

the mansion is located on the hill, the fog made it look like the place was floating above the clouds.

After the tour we thought it would be best to just go ahead and eat at the museum restaurant , pretty good choice and not to expensive. We continued driving on hwy 1 and 5 hours later we made it to our hotel for the night, the Queen Mary.
our room for the night was a Deluxe Stateroom with 2 Twin Beds, so cute

we arrived late so we walked about the ship looking for a place to get dinner. We ended up eating at the Promenade Cafe, the workers there were so friendly and we both really enjoyed our meals.
ended the day off with drink, much needed from the long drive
